Competition Law in ASEAN: Will things change after 2015?

February's Program

The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) has population of over 600 million and member-nations have committed to introducing respective nation-wide competition policy and law by 2015. With these changes on the horizon, a good understanding of competition law is now essential for anyone doing business in the region.

Dr. Robert Ian McEwin, a prominent regional expert on competition policy, will talk about what is happening in competition law in ASEAN - how the Asean Economic Community means greater competition law (antitrust) enforcement and what it may mean for both small and large businesses. Will you have greater remedies against 'bad conduct' by other companies in Thailand?
